China has vowed to take all necessary actions to protect its interests after the United States raised tariffs on steel and aluminum imports. According to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, the move violates World Trade Organization (WTO) rules.

As a result, tensions between the two countries have escalated even further. Just last month, the U.S. imposed a 10% tariff on Chinese goods. In response, China retaliated by placing tariffs on various American products. These included coal, liquefied natural gas, crude oil, agricultural machinery, large vehicles, and pickup trucks.

Moreover, China expressed strong dissatisfaction with the U.S. decision and called for the immediate removal of the new tariffs. In a statement, the Ministry of Commerce stressed that it would take decisive steps to safeguard Chinese businesses and the national economy.

Meanwhile, the trade dispute continues to intensify, keeping both countries on high alert. As the situation develops, global markets remain cautious due to the potential economic fallout.
