Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has invited Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhule, and other lawmakers for a crucial meeting. This comes after the recent Supreme Court ruling.

In an official letter, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) confirmed the governor’s decision. The meeting will focus on key issues. First, they will discuss providing a suitable venue for Assembly sittings. Next, they will address unpaid salaries and allowances.

Moreover, the lawmakers will talk about the state budget and other urgent matters. The goal is to find solutions that will move Rivers State forward.
